Youth Leagues

Minneapolis Rec, in cooperation with Bennington Rec, Lincoln Rec and Solomon Rec, will be participating in a semi-competitive youth basketball league this winter. Travel to Bennington, Lincoln and Solomon may be required.  Home and away match-ups should be fairly equal over the course of a 4 week season and will be held on Saturdays with one Wednesday night competition against other Minneapolis teams.

This league is open to incoming 1st through 6th graders. 1st and 2nd graders will be placed on co-ed teams and we will try to play as many local match-ups as possible.

Games will begin November 19th and will wrap up before Christmas. We will have a clinic with the high school basketball athletes TBD More specific scheduling info will be available through your child's coach after practices begin.

Cost: $30 per player, if enrolled before Oct. 12th.

$40 for late enrollment. No new sign-ups will be allowed after Oct 19th.

Coach Luke Hosler with the Minneapolis Rec. will be working with your little ones on basketball skills. Coach Hosler's knowledge and experience is a wonderful way for bitty ballers of Minneapolis to get started! Join us in January for some Pre-K and Kindergarten Basketball open gym.  

Cost: $10 per night or $25 for all three nights

Dates: Jan. 8th, Jan. 15th, & Jan. 22nd

Times: 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Location: MJSHS New Gym
